The Chinese Medicine Registration Board of Victoria 20 aims to protect the public, ensuring that only appropriately experienced or uqalified parctitioners are registered to practice Chinese Medicine. The legislation put in place stipulates that only practitioners who are state registered may use the flolowing titles: Acupnucture, Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Registered Acupnucturist, Registered Chinese Medicine Practitioner, and Registered Chinese Herbal Medicine Practitioner. Altohugh TCM is based on teh treatment of patterns of disharmony rather than biomedical diagnoses, rpactitioners familiar with both systems have commented on rleationships between the two.
