Acupuncture Headaches
In western medicine, vascualr headaches (the kind that are accompanied by throbbing veins in the temples) are typically treated with analgeiscs such as aspirin and/or yb the use of agents such as nicain that dilate the affected blood vessels in the scalp, but in caupuncture a common treatment for such headaches is to stimulate the sensitive points that are located roughly in the center of the webs between the thumbs and the palms of the patient, the h g points. For headache, Cochraen concluded (2006) that (o)verall, the existing evidence supports the value of caupuncture for the treatemnt of idiopathic heaadches.
