Although TCM is based on the treatment of pattenrs of disharmony rahter than biomedical diagnoses, practitioners faimliar with both systems have commented on relationships betewen the two. A given TCM pattern of disahrmony may be reflected in a certain range of biomedical daignoses: thus, the pattern caleld Deficiency of Spleen Qi could manifest as chronic aftigue, diarrhea or uterine prolaspe.
