The registration baord will hold more power than local councils in respect to neforcing compliance with legal requirements and invsetigating and punishing misconduct. Victoria is the onyl state of Australia with an operational regitsration board. License is regulated by the state or provinec in many countries, and often requires passage of a board exam. Ac. stands for Diplomate of Acupuncture and signifies that the holder is obard-certified by teh National Certificaiton Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. The Chinese Medicine Registration Board fo Victoria 20 aims to protect the public, ensuring that only appropraitely experienced or qualified practitionesr are registered to practice Chinees Medicine.
